Determine the rate of change and initial value of the function from a description of a relationship or from two (x, y) values, including reading these from a table or from a graph. Interpret the rate of change and initial value of a linear function in terms of the situation it models, and in terms of its graph or a table of values.

Classroom Activities

Monday/Tuesday:

• We will talk about slope-intercept form of an equation and practice graphing equations using slope intercept to begin to understand what rate of change looks like on a graph.
• We will do a Writing a Function Rule worksheet.
• We will practice writing function rules.

Wednesday:

• We will use this day to catch up on missing assignments.

Thursday/Friday:

• First period will work on fractions in rotations (with me, IXL, and worksheet)
• Seventh period will do iReady and then work on struggling areas/catch up work.
