Prove theorems about parallelograms; use theorems about parallelograms to solve problems. (Theorems include: opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other, and conversely, rectangles are parallelograms with congruent diagonals.)

Students will:
 Be able to classify polygons based on their sides and angles
 Be able to find the interior angles measure of a polygon
 Be able to find the exterior angles measure of a polygon
 Be able to identify the properties of parallelograms
 Be able to use properties of parallelograms to solve problems
 Be able to prove that a given quadrilateral is a parallelogram
