Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angleangle criterion for similarity of triangles.

 describe a sequence of transformations to prove or disprove that two given figures are similar.
 know the definition of similar and why dilation alone is not enough to determine similarity.
 apply proven relationships to establish minimal properties to justify similarity.
 make conjectures regarding the relationships and measurements of the angles created when two parallel lines are cut by a transversal.
