Recognize the importance of practicing to improve performance. Identify the health benefits of physical activity. Identify the difference in the activity of the heart during rest and while physically active. Travel using various locomotor skills while changing directions, pathways and speeds.
|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
Students will be introduced to the Pacer test and have a chance to practice running with it, but wont be tested with it. We will also discuss the importance of aerobic fitness and an active lifestyle.
