Students will sing using singing voices.

Students will play songs including the notes B,A,G and E and D (4th and 5th) 

Students will be able to read the Treble clef.

Students will continue to memorize their winter performance pieces. 

Students will sing in parts. 

Students will be able to sing a round.

Introduce E

If students understand, begin playing pieces in parts. 

Winter Performance Pieces

  • Bring on the Snow
  • Ready, Set, Snow
  • Blizzard on the Way
  • Over the River
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Angels in the Snow 

Practice parts, memorization, singing voices, movement

Singing in a Round

  • Introduce A Ram Sam Sam – a song from Morocco 
  • Discuss where Morocco is 
  • Define a Round 
  • Sing song then have students split into groups and try singing in a round! 

If more time is needed, introduce Kookaburra, a song from Australia which is also a round
