Students will sing using their proper singing voice. 

Students will perform their spring showcase songs from memory. 

Students will rehearse on stage using proper theater etiquette. 

Students who are watching will critique performances. 

Students will understand how music fits in with dance and drama. 

Students will demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the show “Bada Bing, It’s Spring!” 

Students will perform on instruments. 

Students will perform with props along with music. 

Classroom Activities

Rehearsing for Spring Showcase, “Bada Bing, It’s Spring!” 

  • Run through show
  • Students will learn stage directions
  • Practice with props 
  • Practice with sound and lights 

 

  • If students are waiting to go on the stage, they will be critiquing performances and turning in a written assignment 

When classes are fully prepared for their show, students will return to regular music class and work on: 

  • World music
  • Composers 
  • Folk Dances
