Recorders

  • Review Recorder Karate
  • Sight read recorder songs using B,A,G
  • Learn a few fun new songs (Lion sleeps tonight)

Xylophones

  • Continue working on Two Three
  • Introduce Crunchy, Balafon, or Marimba Jam depending on grade and class performance level

50 Nifty United States

  • Ask students to present all they have learned about the states from class (across the curriculum) 
  • Sing song using singing voices
  • Try memorizing for fun! 

Recorder Centers (if needed) 

  • Have students go through music centers
  • Worksheets on composers, rhythm, and music notation
