Learning Targets and Learning Criteria
• Today I will learn about FORM and AIR DRY CLAY, so that I CAN create a three-dimensional mouse from clay. 
• Today I will learn about COLOR, so that I CAN mix 2 primary colors to create a secondary color mouse.


Classroom Activities

Students will watch a read aloud, “Mouse Paint” by Ellen Walsh. We will discuss the parts of a mouse and primary and secondary colors. Students will learn about FORM and creating 3D art. They will mix 2 primary colored air dry clay slabs to make their secondary color mouse. Students will practice manipulating the clay into different size spheres and shapes.
