|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
•Today I will learn about LINE and COLOR and SPACE, so that I CAN create a FLOWER in the style of Georgia O’Keeffe. I’ll know I have it when I have my flower fills the paper and I can see all of the details of the flower shapes.
Students will learn about American artist, Georgia O’Keeffe. We will watch a read aloud, “My Name is Georgia.” Using oil pastels, students will draw a close up flower from observation. They will then fill the flower and background with watercolor paint. Finally, students will upload their work to Artsonia.
