Classroom Activities
This is their Square1 art project.  We will discus the similarities and differences between artworks and everyday objects and why they are important in school or the community.  
 Students will learn about how black lights work and how they effect fluorescent paint. They will explore different techniques along with blending different colors to see the effect under black light. Students will work along this process with each other and discuss what they have learned and how they can improve their work along the journey of experimenting and then creating their fish. We will discuss the lines, shapes, value, and colors to achieve the goal effect of a fish appearing up-close showing the illusion of space. Last, the students will upload their work to Artsonia, along with a statement.
