Learning Targets and Learning Criteria
  • Today I will learn about VALUE, sot that I can create many different tints and shades to my artwork. 
  • Today I will learn about SPACE and OVERLAP objects and create a FOREGROUND, MIDDLE GROUND and BACKGROUND in my artwork. 
  • Today I will learn about COLOR and experiment mixing colors to create new ones.
Classroom Activities

Students will draw and paint a landscape.  They will work on color mixing, creating tints and shades and properly showing space in their artwork using acrylic paint. Students will create a background, middle ground and foreground. Upon completion, students will upload their artwork to Artsonia, along with an artist statement.
