Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Students will be required to participate in a “gallery walk” of each other’s work.

Classroom Activities

During the gallery walk, students will look for the following items:

  1.  Can they tell what pollinator the poster is about?
  2. Is the guiding question on the mock poster?
  3. Are there at least 3 questions (3 “I wonder” questions) posed?
  4. Is there enough data present that they think an informational poster can be made.

After the gallery walk, groups will have 15 minutes to regroup and decide what they will need for their final posters or add more data to their mock posters.

Final poster preparation will begin in the next class.  Student groups will be provided with:

  • Plain white poster
  • Markers
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Glue sticks
  • Pollinator cut outs
