*CONTINUING* MAFS.5.NBT.2.6 – Find whole-number quotients of whole numbers with up to four-digit dividends and two-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.

 solve for a quotient by continuing the steps of a given division strategy.

 represent decimals up to the thousandths place numerically.

 read and write decimals up to thousandths in word form, base ten numerals, and expanded form.

 compare two decimals up to the thousandths using place value and record the comparison using symbols <, >, or =.

 compare two decimals that are written in different formats (i.e. word form, base ten numerals, and expanded form).

 explain how to use place value to round decimals to any place, including the nearest whole number.

 round decimals, up to the hundredths place using a number in the thousandths.

 demonstrate competency with place value concepts in the context of rounding.
