A. School Policy states that no k-5th grade student may leave their designated parent pick-up area without an adult or an older sibling of middle school age or older.  This means that no Elementary student can walk to the park or go to the top parking pad  without previous WRITTEN CONSENT with your signature, no emails or Bloomz messages, stating that you are allowing your child to leave their adult supervised area.

B. If your child participates in an afterschool function and another person besides who is listed on their emergency card is picking them up, before we can release the student we must have WRITTEN CONSENT with signature giving the adult permission to pick up your child.

Students who are not picked-up by 4:00 pm will be sent to aftercare. $$Fee will be charged

4. Dress Code:

Please dress your child in the Ivy Hawn uniform everyday (unless stated).  Shorts/Skirts must be a hand length away from the students knee. No Hoodies are allowed unless they are a Ivy Hawn Hoodie.  Zip up Jackets can be Ivy Hawn or Plain NO LOGO zip ups.

For their own safety, children are not allowed to wear crocs, heelys, flip-flops or sandals to school. Shoes must have a back and little to no heel.

Please refer to Ivy Hawn Dress Code (which can be downloaded from the school website) or found in the Student Parent Handbook for complete information.

Our classroom temperature changes often throughout the day. Even if your child is usually warm, we highly recommend having a jacket to school each day.

The children frequently misplace clothing items throughout the school year. Please make sure every article of clothing your child may remove at school is clearly labeled with his/her name. This includes jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, and ALL winter gear.
