Add 1 detail under each job what they do in that position.  After completing the map, work together to formulize the first sentence. Choose one job as an example. Start with “One job many people do is ______.

Students can start writing detail sentences if time is permitted.

 Write different nouns on a post-it (enough for each students to have one). Ex: car, she, house, etc)  On the board make a 3 column chart and Person, Place and Thing.  Have students come up and put their post it in the write column.  Use white boards to write one sentence using the noun they had on their post it if time permitted.

Writing:

Revise and edit writing from Tuesday for a final draft.  Show students how to go back and reread sentences looking for Capitalization, proper spacing and punctuation.
