-use a compare/contrast organizer to show similar themes and/or topics in stories, myths, legends, and traditional literature from different cultures.

-compare and contrast the treatment of similar patterns of events in stories, myths, legends, and traditional literature from different cultures.

-determine the meaning of words and phrases using context.
