                      **Students have been assigned their innovator to research.

We have been reading about some famous innovators from Florida. Our project will be several parts: 1.) completed note taking packet,       2.) informational essay, and 3.) classroom presentation with visual.

Note Taking Packet:  You have been given a note taking packet so that you may record the gathering of your information for your project. This completed packet will be part of your grade. You may use more sources to get lots of interesting information. Be sure to document all of them. Be thorough! (20% of grade)

Informational Essay: From the information you gather, you will be writing an informational essay about your innovator. Your essay should be composed of: An Introduction, 3 (or more) body paragraphs, and a Conclusion. (40% of grade)

Classroom Presentation: For the classroom presentation, you WILL NOT  read your essay to the class. You will need to prepare some interesting notes/facts about your innovator that you can tell us about.  You will also need to prepare a visual presentation, which can be in the form of a poster, power point, SeeSaw video, dressing up like your person, etc. *See me for an OK if you have any other ideas! (40% of grade)
