|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
Students will learn the basics of photography and the manipulation of a cameras manual settings in order to create properly exposed and well composed images.
Students will learn to edit their photos using Adobe Lightroom. Here they will learn to adjust an images exposure, correct lighting and coloring.
Students will learn to evaluate and critique photos as works of art to both help increase the quality of their peers work and their own.
Students will work towards producing photos worthy of printing and adding to their portfolio.
Student will be given the opportunity to take photos outside of the classroom and to work with other classes photographing the project they are working on.
Students will be given the opportunity to work in groups practicing with their cameras.
Student will be able to shoot photos outside of the classroom, exposing them to a variety of lighting conditions and compositional challenges.
Students will be given a weekly participation grade for practicing their photography skills by using cameras in class and by editing their photos using Adobe Lightroom.
Summative: Due Friday Sept. 29th: Digital Mini Portfolio (Portraiture) Students will be expected to complete their mini portfolio project and submit their photos via usb flash drive. Project info below.
