Students will be able to calculate their personal heart rate training zones and how to modify their intensity to stay within those parameters
Students will be able to determine whether or not an activity is classified as aerobic (getting enough oxygen to continue) or anaerobic (lack of oxygen)
Students will be able to explain what happens to the heart during exercise and at rest, but also recognize how the heart benefits from activity.
