Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

This quarter we will be creating a brand new dance production, “For the Love of Dance.” We will have new class choreography, incorporate student choreograpy, partnering work, and collaborate with younger elementary students as well as teachers.

Classroom Activities

Warm up
Discussion and research on the ipads for music, ideas, examples to incorporate into our show.
Learn new choreography
Student led groups to choreograph pieces together for the show.

Assignments Due

Permission Form for the show
We will have several writing assignments in class related to our work for the show that will count for grades.
Performance on February 22nd will be a summative grade.
