DA.68.H.1.2 Research and discuss the influence that social dances have had on the development of classical, theatrical, modern, and contemporary dance genres.

DA.68.H.1.3 Discuss issues of plagiarism and appropriation of choreographic works and other intellectual property.

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

This quarter we will focus on our diversity in dance. We will be working on and completing a big project that will research our individual ethnicities and cultural backgrounds as they apply to the dance world. This project will be broken down into sections throughout the 9 weeks, ending with a summative presentation.
