Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Students will apply techniques with enough proficiency as to create a digiitally enhanced photograph that appears seamless and captures the style of Magritte’s Surrealism.  Photographs MUST reflect excellent use of technique (not blurry or out of focus), demonstrate understanding of basic rules of composition, be creative and exhibit artistic intent, as defined by the Volusia School District Visual Arts Rubric, of which grades are based on.  See grading policy at  http://mrsilversart.weebly.com/uploads/3/7/8/3/37831759/2d_art_rubric.pdf.

Classroom Activities

Students will take photographs of one of their eyes and add a background within the iris of the eye to create a surreal digitally altered image.

Students will put two original landscapes together using multiple custom shapes. Students will utilize selections and layer masks.
