Students will have an introduction to Theater in the middle ages or Medieval Theater as their next Theater History lesson. 

Students will practice: You Don’t have to be funny! as their next rule of improvisation.

Students will gather information for their theater history group project. 

Classroom Activities

Monday/Tuesday: Video on Medieval Theater, Notes on Video, Work on Project: Discovering playwrights/plays, and Technical theater advancements during their assigned time period.

Wednesday: Improvisation Day: You don’t have to be funny. AND CROW–Improvisation Scene focusing on Characterization, Relationship, Objective, and Where.

Thursday/Friday: Video on Commedia dell Arte, Notes on video, Work on a Lazi scene in class.
