Students will understand the similarities and differences between the following Theater History time periods: Greek, Roman, Medieval, and Commedia Dell Arte.
Students will have a clear understanding of the 10 rules of Improvisation.
Monday/Tuesday: Students will work on their group theater history projects. Finishing the information gathering page. Students should also choose what their project should be. Options include: A performed scene from their time period; A power point presentation including information about their selected time period; A selection of technical theater examples from their time period (costumes, make-up, mask, props, setting, theater structure); or students may create an informational poster about their time period.
Wednesday: Theater History Review and Improvisation game (1. Only 3 AND 2. Freeze and Live)
Thursday/Friday: Theater History Test
