MAFS.7.RP.1.2:  Recognize and represent proportional relationships between quantities.  Decide whether two quantities are in a proportional relationship.  Identify the constant of proportionality and represent proportional relationships by equations.

MAFS.7.RP.1.3:  Use proportional relationships to solve multi-step ratio and percent problems, including simple interest, tax, markups and markdowns, etc.

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria
  • Students will be able to find the constant of proportionality from an equation, from a graph, from a table, or in a word problem.
  • Students will create equivalent ratios.
  • Students will determine whether two quantities are proportional.
Classroom Activities

Monday:

  • Some students will retake the iReady diagnostic test 
  • Other students will work on iReady and/or any unfinished work

Wednesday:

  • Students will finish the iReady diagnostic or work on unfinished work

Thursday:

  • Students will complete diagnostic or unfinished work
  • We will do some quizizz assignments on proportional relationships

  • Quizizz assignment due on February 7.
