My students will work in partners on a word search and a crossword puzzle based on our spelling and vocabulary words from our literature.
My students will discuss issues, listen to their classmates, and give opinions through Small Group and Large Group Discussions.
My students will take written quizzes on what they have read so I can assess their understanding.
My students will learn to read silently looking for key details and reasons.
My students will learn to find evidence in the texts they read.
My students will watch videos and discuss what they learned from each video. They will answer written questions to demonstrate comprehension.
My students will practice reading aloud and comprehend what they have read.
My students will learn new words and definitions from the text. They will be tested on these, and I will also define the meanings as we read the novel and come across words they do not know.
We will have Town Hall Meeting so students can share from their lives.
We will watch short videos on life subjects.
We will do a word search and a crossword puzzle.
We will read Teddy Bodain.
We will review spelling and vocabulary words.
We will write book reports on Friday.
We will have a spelling and vocabulary test on Friday.

Wednesday – Independent reading, Read Teddy Bodain. Discuss Speeches. Book Report #6 due Friday.
Thursday – Video, Spelling and Vocabulary review, Teddy Bodain, Work on Speeches.
Friday – Videos, Spelling and Vocabulary tests, Book Report #6.
