Monday – Town Hall Meeting, tour of the class, discussion of expectations and classroom rules, “When Uncle Ronnie Comes to Visit”
Homework – Read “When Uncle Ronnie Comes to Visit” aloud to a parent, write spelling words 10x each, read for 20 minutes before bedtime. Parents should sign.
Tuesday – Town Hall Meeting, check homework, cursive writing, reading, writing
Homework – Write sentences with spelling words. Your sentences should show me that you know the meaning of the word. Parents should sign.
Wednesday – Independent reading, group activity. Check homework. Review spelling and vocabulary.
Homework – NO HOMEWORK
Thursday – Town Hall Meeting, cursive writing, reading, writing, class activities
Homework – Read “BabyPanda” aloud to your parent. Read slowly and with expression. Parents should sign.
Friday – Spelling test and Vocabulary test. Reading, writing, activities, game
Friday spelling and vocabulary tests, homework on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
