|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
Students spent last week researching and writing their speeches and working on their PowerPoint presentations. This week we will present speeches and PowerPoint presentations.
Students will listen intently to each other’s speeches.
Students will score each other’s speeches according to our rubric.
Students will give meaningful feedback to each other after each speech.
Each student will present a 3 minute speech to our class. Students have had their topics approved by Dr. Forney and have done extensive research.
Students will present an 8-12 slide PowerPoint presentation with their speech.
There will be no spelling test or vocabulary test this week.
Our class will continue to read the novel Submerged each day after speeches.
