Tuesday, October 16 – Organizing an argument, summarizing an argument, writing an introduction & conclusion for an argument, and writing claims. (ThinkCERCA)
Wednesday, October 17 – Periods 1, 2, & 3 = Novel Study – Call of the Wild
Periods 5, 6, & 7 = I Ready
Thursday, October 18 – Using evidence in an argument essay, selecting and arranging evidence, providing sound reasoning, writing a counterargument, and providing alternate viewpoints.
Friday, October 19 – Stations:
1 – IXL (Developing and Supporting arguments.)
2 – Revising argument essay with Ms. Baker
3 – Editing argument essay.
