Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

 – Students will provide a comparison and contrast of a text to a video version of the text. 
 – Students will develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing, rewriting, or trying a new approach, focusing on how well purpose and audience have been addressed.

Monday, November 12 – No School
Tuesday, November 13 – Nearpod Lesson – Connect Ideas Using Transition Words, Phrases, and Clauses.  ThinkCERCA (Students will outline an argument essay.)  Uniform Vs Dress Code
Wednesday, November 14 – Finish ThinkCERCA and begin Volusia Literacy Test (VLT)
Thursday, November 15 – Volusia Literacy Test (VLT)
Friday, November 16 – Movie – The Call of the Wild
Students will compare and contrast the movie to the book.

Assignments Due

No spelling/vocabulary.
Friday, November 16 – IXL Homework Due:  C.1, C.2, C.3
