Students will work on the evidence lesson and Hurricane/Surf Watch CERCA set on ThinkCERCA.com

Students will complete an interactive lesson on theme and connotation using Nearpod.com

Students will use the computer to practice identifying theme in a Read Works text, What Did You Say?

Read My Wonder Horse pg. 211 to review internal/external conflict and theme.

Students will demonstrate understanding of standards from quarter 1 on the reading test from Collection 4 in the textbook.  Test will cover literature and non-fiction with questions about theme, conflict, argument, claims, and evidence.  Reviewing previous vocabulary words will help with understanding test questions (see week of 8/21 and 9/18).
