Students will:

  • Trace or evaluate the argument or claims in a section of the text and/or throughout their research
  • Distinguish arguments or claims that are supported with evidence from those that are not.
Classroom Activities
  • Complete Performance Assessment practice and perform argumentative tasks (part 2 & 3)
  • Tech Tuesday: iReady, IXL, ThinkCERCA ***ALL students MUST have wired earbuds/headphones*** IXL lessons G.3 & KK.2
  • Spelling/Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday (students received words on Sept 27th)
  • Introduction to argumentative speech project
  • Students will choose their argumentative speech topics
