Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student goals:

  1. Students will share their timelines with the class and identify chronological order of their own life events. 
  2. We will describe the roles of historians
  3. We will talk about how history transmits culture and how it defines us as people today. 
Classroom Activities

Students will continue to work in their rotations this week and learn more about the hominids. I have attached a word document providing the center rotation work we worked on in class.

We will also take a small quiz covering key vocab words and hominid facts. Please make sure you study your Hominid Chart to know the differences between them. 

Important Vocabulary this week: Archaeologist, geographer, prehistoric, historian, artifact, ritual
