SS.6.W.2.7- Summarize the important achievements of Mesopotamian civilization.

SC.6.P.11.1-  Explore the Law of Conservation of Energy by differentiating between potential and kinetic energy. Identify situations where kinetic energy is transformed into potential energy and vice versa.

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

  • Students will identify how population, technology, government, religion, and culture can influence a civilization. 
  • Students will analyze the significance of the development of writing to history.
  • Students will examine how the Mesopotamian civilization influenced civilizations for centuries to come.
  • Students will analyze the differences between kinetic and potential energy and how it relates to their Ziggurat Temples.
Classroom Activities

Blended Learning Rotations will be completed this week. 

Continue working on our STEM Ziggurat Challenge. 

Assignments Due

Blended Learning Rotations (See last week’s classroom connect for detailed instructions) 

Students will complete rotations 2 & 5 for a grade

Continue working on Ziggurat Temple Run

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.
