Ancient Egypt Project directions Due in November!

SS.6.W.1.3- Interpret primary and secondary sources.
SS.6.W.2.4- Compare the economic, political, social, and religious institutions of ancient river civilizations.
SS.6.W.2.5- Summarize important achievements of Egyptian civilization.
|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
Students will analyze ancient Egyptian events.
Students will look at Primary sources of information about the ancient pyramids.
Students will compare the Mesopotamian and Egyptian cultures and how they were similar & different to one another.
Students will study aspects of Egyptian agriculture, calendar, pyramids, art and architecture, hieroglyphic writing and record-keeping, literature such as the Book of the dead, mummification.
Students will work in rotations this week focusing on a variety of assignments on the topic of Ancient Egyptian culture.
The rotations are attached to last weeks classroom connect.
Center Rotations are due this week, Wednesday 10/25/17, after this points will be deducted for late work.
Upcoming Shoe box project: I will attach the rubric and guidelines above.
DUE November 6th for 2nd, 3rd & 4th period and November 7th for 7th and 8th period classes.
ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.
When a student is absent, it is their responsibility to check the absent files in class and copy notes from a peer. Students will have the number of days absent to complete missing work. If you need any assignments emailed, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
