SS.6.W.2.9- Identify key figures and basic beliefs of the Israelites and determine how these beliefs compared with those of others in the geographic area.

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

  • Students will identify key Israelites.
  • Students will compare Israelite culture with other ancient river civilizations.
    Examples may include, but are not limited to, Abraham, Moss, monotheism, law, emphasis on individual worth and responsibility.
Classroom Activities

Students will work in their Bell Ringer notebooks defining terms: 

Torah 

Judaism 

Covenant 

Exodus 

Monotheism 

Jewish Diaspora 

Students will also complete different activities that help support their learning goals for this week. 

Assignments Due

Egypt Projects are due November 26th & 27th- Rubrics have been given out. Please contact if you have any questions. 

Additional Resources

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.

When a student is absent, it is their responsibility to check the absent files in class and copy notes from a peer.  Students will have the number of days absent to complete missing work.  If you need any assignments emailed, please contact me at smithk@ivyhawnschool.org.
