|Learning Targets and Learning Criteria|
Period 1,2,4: Students will discuss who Siddhartha Gutama was and how he became the Buddha. They will complete a venn diagram on both Hinduism and Buddhism.
Periods: 5,7,8: Students will create imaginary website posters on King Ashoka that include who he was as a leader and his beliefs in Buddhism.
Students will complete their India Study guide
Thursday & Friday they will take their summative
Imaginary Posters Classes: 5,7,8
Notebook Check will be done this week. I am checking to make sure my students are taking notes, pasting in their vocabulary words we work on every week and are completing their bell-ringers (quick questions) each day. This will be a formative grade in gradebook.
Summative on ancient India
ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.
When a student is absent, it is their responsibility to check the absent files in class and copy notes from a peer. Students will have the number of days absent to complete missing work. If you need any assignments emailed, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
