SS.6.W.4.10- Explain the significance of the silk roads and maritime routes across the Indian Ocean to the movement of goods and ideas among Asia, East Africa, and the Mediterranean Basin.

Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

  • Students will focus on the worlds first “World Wide Web” the Silk Road. 
  • Students will be able to describe the dangers and goods exchanged along the silk road. 
Classroom Activities

Students will complete their bellringers

Read in their textbooks, and complete group activities that prove the differences between the Eastern and Western silk road. 

 

Assignments Due

Journal Entry in their spiral notebooks.

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.
