Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

  • Students will examine contributions that include: art and architecture, athletic competitions, the birth of democracy and civic responsibility, drama, history, literature, mathematics, medicine, philosophy, science, and warfare.
  • To know some differences between: Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. 
Classroom Activities

Students will complete their lesson 29 in their interactive notebooks. They will work around the room completing activities at each station. Examining contributions made by the Athenians: Greek Drama, Architecture, Sports etc.

Students will complete an activity focused on Greek Philosophers: Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. They will need to cut and paste the handout into their student notebooks.

Lesson 29- Interactive notebook page 211-218 

Cut & Paste “Greek Philosophers” placed in the students spiral notebook.  

 

Additional Resources

ALL IEP and ESOL accommodations will be provided daily.

When a student is absent, it is their responsibility to check the absent files in class and copy notes from a peer. Students will have the number of days absent to complete missing work. If you need any assignments emailed, please contact me at smithk@ivyhawnschool.org.
