Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals:

  • Students will describe the social structures of both Athens and Sparta.
  •  Students will apply their knowledge of Athens and Sparta to discuss how the differences between the two cities impacted residents’ lives.
Classroom Activities

This week students will finish up their Greek Government Foldables. I will give my students 30 minuets to complete. If they do not finish they will have to complete the foldable for homework, as it will be a graded assignment. 

After this we will begin with comparing and contrasting Athens and Sparta. We will watch a video and read chapter 27 in our textbooks, and later this week complete a graphic organizer comparing the two city- states and their social structures.
