Golf Tournament

Ivy Hawn is getting ready for our annual golf tournament. A flyer with information went home a few weeks ago. The tournament is on May 5th and proceeds will go towards building a playground on campus!

Math Learning Targets:

Students will review subtraction strategies, rounding and estimating.

 

Math Learning Activities:

Students will be using models, estimation and regrouping to subtract three digit numbers.  This is a review unit as we prepare for the math FSA which will be on May 1-2.

Science Learning Targets:  Students will be able to describe how animals and plants respond to changing seasons.  (SC.3.L.17.1) 

 

Science Learning Activities: Students will work on sorting activities for the different groups of animals. They will sort animals that hibernate, migrate, or adapt in response to the changing seasons. They will also read about how plants adapt or change with the seasons.
