Field Trip Reminder: Planetarium at Seminole State College 2/9/18.

 ELA Learning Targets:

Students will review inferencing, as well as main idea to prepare for the district assessment the week of January 29th.

ELA Activities:

Students will be reading the story “Seven Spools of Thread
for comprehension. Students will participate in small groups during centers and also practicing on IXL, I-Station, as well as reviewing concepts from the previous unit. IXL: R.1-R.2, X.1, X.2, U.1-U.5, V.1-V.5, Z.1, Y.3, T.1-T.5, W.3, W.4

 Science Learning Targets: What is the structure of plants? What nutrients do plants need?

Science Learning Activities: Unit 6 Science Fusion. Students will describe the structure of plants and their roles in food production, support, water and nutrient transport, and reproduction.

Math Learning Targets:  Students will be able to apply the properties of operations to multiply and divide.

Math Learning Targets: Students will identify and show examples of the commutative property of multiplication, the associative property of multiplication and the distributive property of multiplication.

Social Studies: Students will continue learning about maps and geography. Students will learn about the natural landmarks in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
