Science Learning Targets:  STEM Week

Science Learning Activities: Students will be working on STEM projects and will take the VST science test.

Math Learning Targets:

Students will be able to use different strategies, models and patterns to multiply by 3 and 4.

IXL: M9, M12, F11, H1, N6, N7 (multiplication and division)

Math Learning Activities: Students will be working from My Math Chapter 7. Students will practice using arrays, equal groups, properties, using a known fact and doubling a known fact. Students will practice these skills in centers and on IXL and Prodigy.

ELA Activities: Students will participate in small groups during centers and also practicing on Iready and Istation.

3.Rl.2.5: Understand that text features help to organize text and make it easier to locate information.

-Use text features to locate information in a text.

3.Rl.2.4: Use domain-specific knowledge to determine meaning of content- or subject-area words and phrases.

-Use context clues to determine meanings of unfamiliar words.

Writing Targets

3.W.3.8: Gather information from sources; take brief notes and sort evidence into categories.

W.3.1: Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons.

Social Studies: SS.3.G.1.1: Use thematic maps, tables, charts, graphs, and photos to analyze geographic information.
