Science Learning Targets: Students will learn about how light travels, is reflected, refracted and absorbed.
Science Learning Activities: Students will investigate how light travels with a variety of activities, such as, shadow puppets, refraction bowls and a light lab.
Math Learning Targets:
Students will be able to use models to find equivalent fractions, express whole numbers as fractions, and use models to compare fractions and record results.
Math Learning Activities: Students will be working from My Math Chapter 10. Students will practice making models to show fractions, use mixed numbers and write fractions that are equal to whole numbers. Students will practice these skills in centers and on IXL and Prodigy.
