ELA Learning Targets:
Students will recount stories, including fables, folktales, and myths from diverse cultures; determine the central message, lesson, and/or moral and explain how it is conveyed through key details in the text.
During centers students will be practicing on IXL, I-Station, reviewing author’s viewpoint and non-literal language. Students will be reading “What’s in Store for the Future?” during center time. IXL: X.1, X.2, U.1, U.5, V.2, Z.1, Y.3, T.4, W.3
Science Learning Targets: What are some physical properties? How are mass and volume measured? What are the states of matter? How can the state of matter change?
Science Learning Activities: Unit 3 Science Fusion. Students will work on inquiry science learning activities and sort through different types of matter, measure and compare mass and volume and describe the changes of states of matter. Students will be participating in virtual labs and inquiry experiments.
Math Learning Targets: Students will find a fractional part of a set, find and write fractions greater than one, relate length to fractions, identify fractional parts and mixed fractions on a number line, and draw pictures to solve fraction problems.
Math Learning Activities: Students will be practicing naming fractions as a part of a set, writing fractions greater than one, using fractions when measuring length and using fractions on a number line.

Social Studies Learning Targets: Students will learn about map elements, such as a map key, land, bodies of water and population. We will also discuss continents and oceans and label on a map. ________________________________________________________________
