Fall Festival will be Saturday, October 20th! 3rd grade will have a booth set up where students can come and play our Dangling Donuts game! If you would like to volunteer or donate supplies, please click on the links below and sign up.
Science Learning Targets: Students will be able to classify objects into groups based on their physical properties.
Science Learning Activities: Students will take the VST for science on Monday and Tuesday then we will begin our activities for physical properties of matter.
Math Learning Targets:
We will continue working with fractions using strategies to write and represent a fraction.
IXL: W 1-11 (fractions)
Math Learning Activities: Students will explore fractions using number lines, diagrams and models. We will be using our My Math curriculum from McGraw-Hill.
ELA Activities: Students will participate in small groups during centers and also practicing on IReady and Istation.
IXL will be for extra practice at home. Every week the strand that is starred/highlighted will be what they can choose from to practice.

ELA Learning Targets: This will be a review week of Unit 1.
Main Idea; Ask and Answer; Sequence; and Cause and Effect.

Social Studies: SS.3.A.1.2 Students will be able to define terms related to social studies, including but not limited to , the following: history, geography, civics, government, and economics.
