Sea Life Orlando Field Trip

The trip will be on Tuesday, May 28th! Permission slips went home this week. You do not need to pay again; however, if you did not pay for your child to attend the trip originally, you can sign them up now. The cost is $25. We are excited to finally enjoy our trip to Sea Life Orlando!

 

Science Learning Targets:  Students will be able to apply the steps in the scientific process to answer a question.

 

Science Learning Activities: Students will take part in scientific experiments.

 

Math Learning Targets:

Students will be reviewing telling time to the minute and elapsed time and they will practice rounding.

Math Learning Activities:

Students will work on time and rounding practice sheets, word problems and games as part of our end of the year review getting ready for 4th grade!

 

ELA Activities: Students will participate in small groups during centers and also practicing on Iready and Istation.

ELA Learning Targets:

3.L.3.5b: Identify real-life connections between words and their use (e.g., describe people who are friendly or helpful).

Comprehension: Please Please the Bees

Writing Targets

3.W.1.2: Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.

IXL: M.3, AA.3, FF.5, FF.7, GG.2, JJ.6

Social Studies:

 SS.G.2.1 Label the countries and commonwealths in North America (Canada, United States, Mexico) and in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Cuba, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica).

There will be a summative test for spelling on 5/17/19. This will be our last spelling test for this year.
