Use the mean and standard deviation of a data set to fit it to a normal distribution and to
estimate population percentages. Recognize that there are data sets for which such a
procedure is not appropriate. Use calculators, spreadsheets, and tables to estimate areas under
the normal curve

• Find the Mean Absolute Deviation, Standard Deviation, and Variance
• Analyze a Normal Distribution Graph

Monday/Tuesday:

SMT Testing then corrections to DIA 3 and Systems Test.  Those who are finished with all corrections will do Cool Math

Wednesday:

Whole Group: Finish notes on Standard Deviation

Small Group: Practice Problems 3-5

Independent: Khan Academy (Algebra) – Standard Deviation Practice 4 Problems

Thursday:

Whole Group: Review Systems of Equations and Systems of Inequalities on overhead Projector

Small Group:  Partners will Practice 2 example problems of the above

Independent:  Scavenger Hunt-Systems of Equations with Elimination and Substitution
