MAFS.G.1.3  Describe the effect of dilations, translations, rotations, and reflections on two-dimensional figures using coordinates. 

MAFS.8.F.1.1  Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is a set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.

  • explain how transformations can be used to prove that two figures are congruent.
  •  perform a series of transformations (reflections, rotations, and/ortranslations) to prove or disprove that two given figures are congruent.

Assignments Due

Homework from last Thursday which is gone over on Monday (Transformations-review 1 page and Transformations Review-2 pages) are due for a grade on Wednesday before the test.

Transformations Test will be due on Thursday.
