LAFS.8.W.1.2a-f: Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas, concepts, and information through the selection, organization, and analysis of relevant content
LAFS.8.W.2.4: Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
LAFS.8.W.3.9: Draw evidence from literary or informational texts to support analysis, reflection, and research.

• Students will be able to compare and contrast two texts.
• Students will be able to trace and evaluate arguments and evaluate supporting evidence to determine whether the evidence is relevant or irrelevant.
• Students will be able to write arguments to supports claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence.

Monday-Wednesday: Complete CANVAS module on Argument Writing. This includes completing an essay in Edgenuity (Language Arts)
